On 15 June, Wanja Kröger and Miriam Schmidt-Wetzel invited their colleagues from the Coordination Committee Education Program to the ZHdK.
The event kicked off with a glimpse into a module from the BA Acting: in collaboration with the Immersive Arts Space, students controlled avatars using their own bodies, thereby translating analogue movements into digital form and back again. This example sparked a broader discussion within the committee: How does learning change when new technologies and spaces are introduced into teaching? What is actually being learnt in the process, and how can we ensure that such settings have a lasting impact?
The committee then visited the ZHdK’s graduation exhibition. The focus was primarily on projects dealing with education and learning.
The graduation exhibition runs until 26 June and showcases final projects from Art Education, Culture Critique, Design, Film, Fine Arts, Theatre and Transdisciplinarity.
