Invisible health

Research at the intersection of medicine, design and technology

In the ZHdK podcast Kunstlicht, Claudia M. Witt (Professor at the University Hospital of Zurich) and Anna Lisa Martin-Niedecken (Professor of Design Research at the ZHdK) talk to Eva Pauline Bossow about health beyond the measurable: pain without a diagnosis, symptoms without a name, and how design can help to make these blind spots visible.

The two researchers provide an insight into specific projects: digital self-care services for cancer patients, apps focusing on menstrual health, and the use of AI in prevention.

They met through the DIZH network: Digital Health Zurich and the Digital Health Design Living Lab are funded in the first Structure Call.
