Project closure: Spatial Abilities

The Spatial Abilities project developed a digital, game-based training environment that specifically promotes spatial awareness. The aim was to supplement existing analogue training formats with interactive, three-dimensional software and make spatial thinking systematically trainable.

The result is a video game with progressive exercises in five categories of spatial thinking. The application is text-free, tracks individual learning progress and is designed for tablet and desktop devices. Spatial Abilities is aimed at private individuals as well as educational and professional groups. The game offers prospects for use in STEM education.

The finalisation and release of the software are still pending and will be pursued further.
