A big thank you to all DIZH members and colleagues for their commitment this year. 2025 has once again demonstrated the value of cross-university collaboration, interdisciplinary exchange and the connection between science and practice.
We published five Calls for proposals in the Innovation program (4th Rapid Action Call, 2nd Founder Call, 2nd Outreach Call, 5th Project Call and 3rd Structure Call) and approved 30 new projects. This means that we have funded 120 projects since 2021, proof of the vibrant research and innovation culture in our network. The review process for the 5th Project Call and the 2nd Outreach Call is currently underway. The deadline for submissions for the third and final Structure Call is 28 January 2026.
In 2025, the partner universities carried out a wide range of activities in education, research and outreach initiatives, which had a visible impact. An overview can be found on the universities’ websites.
We look forward to working together in the coming year.
The office will be closed over the holidays. We will be available again as usual from 5 January 2026.
