digilinguo now also online

digilinguo is being funded in the second Structure Call and now has its own website and LinkedIn channel.

digilinguo supports public institutions such as hospitals, courts, and schools in overcoming language barriers in everyday life, thereby reducing the burden on everyone involved. The project is a collaboration between UZH and ZHAW.

The three pillars of digilinguo

The project is based on three interrelated approaches:

Test track: In the ZHAW usability lab, various digital tools such as VR glasses and apps are tested by practice partners for their practical suitability and efficiency.

Science2Practice: The hub offers proven solutions and the latest research findings. The integrated e-learning environment provides learning materials for the training and continuing education of interpreting professionals.

Meetups: Regular meetings facilitate interdisciplinary exchange between experts from public institutions, researchers, and interpreting professionals.
