VR as a learning venue: Award ceremony at the SGAB conference

The Virtual Reality as a Learning Venue for Basic Vocational Education and Training project, which we presented in July as the winner of the SGAB Vocational Education and Training Award 2025, has now been officially honoured at the autumn conference of the Swiss Society for Applied Vocational Education and Training Research (SGAB).

The award ceremony took place on 29 October 2025 in Bern as part of the conference “The world as a place of learning – strengthening vocational education and training through mobility and transversal skills”. We congratulate the project team led by Thomas Keller, Elke Brucker-Kley and Reto Knaack (ZHAW) as well as Martin Berger (PHZH) and are delighted about the visibility that innovative teaching and learning formats are gaining in vocational training.
