ImaginEd: New educational game supports schools in the digital transformation

The game ImaginEd is the result of the Edugame4Change project, which was funded in the third project call, and is now available as a product for schools. The game was presented to the public for the first time on 25 October 2025 at a launch event in the Lernmedienshop Zurich and is now available for purchase.

In three phases of the game, the players draw and narrate the story of a fictional school together – from its founding to its trials and tribulations in everyday life.

ImaginEd is the result of intensive collaboration between the Zurich University of Teacher Education, Zurich University of the Arts, the Zurich City Schulamt and other partners. The game invites players to reflect together on the educational opportunities and challenges of digital transformation and to gain new perspectives on contemporary learning.
