DIZH was also represented at the 3rd Zurich SME Innovation Day on July 3, 2025. Under the motto “Fit for the future together: Achieving a big impact with small levers”, the focus was on current challenges and practical solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, including digitalization and sustainability.
The day offered impulses, lectures and practice-oriented workshops. We are delighted that two members of the DIZH environment were able to actively contribute to the program:
André Meyer led the workshop “Optimizing collaboration with self-reflection and the use of digital tools”. He presented the scientifically based method of Reflective Goal-Setting and showed how self-reflection can make everyday work more efficient and fulfilling.
In her workshop “Effective leadership in times of economic and social crisis”, Florence Bernays from the Center for Leadership in the Future of Work (UZH) highlighted the use of emotional intelligence as a key skill for leaders. Practical exercises were used to show how this skill can help to counter the shortage of skilled workers and retain talent in the long term.
Many thanks to the Department for Economic Affairs of the Canton of Zurich for the organization and to all participants and contributors for the stimulating discussions and impulses.
