Reducing administrative burdens in social services through a generative translation tool for simplified language
This project addresses the non-take-up of social benefits caused by language and administrative barriers. It proposes the use of a generative AI tool that translates complex social administration documents into plain language. The project aims to identify barriers in the benefit application process, to co-develop practical implementation strategies with partner institutions and to evaluate their impact on benefit uptake through field experiments.
