Shoulder problems are among the most common causes of pain and restricted movement in everyday life. However, diagnosis and treatment are often complex, as each shoulder is anatomically unique. The InnoTreat team has therefore set itself the goal of fundamentally improving the treatment of shoulder complaints through the use of a digital twin.
The digital twin is an individually created digital image of the shoulder based on image data, movement analyses and biomechanical simulations. Using artificial intelligence and 3D technology, not only can movement sequences be realistically depicted, but targeted therapeutic approaches can also be derived.
