Why do some AI features fail to earn users’ trust even when the underlying model performs well?
At the next Trustworthy AI Circle, we will examine how trust and compliance are operationalised through the interaction of engineering, legal, product, and operational decisions. AI systems are not shaped by models alone, but by the organisational processes, design choices, and governance structures surrounding them.
Using real-world AI document workflows as examples, the session will explore how technical capabilities, regulatory requirements, business priorities, and user expectations influence one another — and where tensions between them emerge.
The discussion with Vibha Mohan (Group Legal Counsel), Baptiste Marien (Director of Product, Pdfools), and Eduard Schäli (VP Engineering, Smallpdf) will focus on what it means to build AI products that are compliant by design, operationally resilient, and trustworthy in practice.
